Class Action Suit Filed Against FEMA Today

A class action lawsuit was filed today in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, to prevent the Federal Emergency Management Agency from cutting off emergency housing assistance on May 31st and rendering homeless more than 17,000 households nationwide, or 50,000 low income evacuees of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
